They also provided transportation for our Elk to a nearby butcher for processing which was very convenient. He also prepared several great pastries his cherry pastries were fantastic as were the breakfast blueberry pancakes. Our cook prepared wonderful meals and ensured that we were never hungry with hardy food. Now the food and accommodations were also first class for a true hunting lodge experience.
I was not quite quick enough to get on target but our guide put both of us on the Elk. Then our guide focused on finding me an opportunity which he did. My son took a magnificent 6 by 6 bull at around 300 yards which was a great experience for him. Since I am I’m my 60’s our guide and my son who is in his 30’s slowed the pace so we had a great experience. The guide was well experienced and accommodating.
